Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan proposed on October 14 that Armenia and Azerbaijan exchange territories of equal size to resolve the issue of enclaves and exclaves along their border, PAN reports. He linked the proposal to achieving peace between the two countries.

Pashinyan said there should be no enclaves or exclaves on either side of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Following such an exchange, Armenia’s territory must cover at least 29,743 square kilometers, the prime minister stressed.
