Azerbaijan and Armenia have achieved de facto peace, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during the general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. He also said that Baku and Yerevan had established bilateral trade ties.
The minister called for a more effective UN that delivers tangible results for member states, ensures peace and security, promotes development, strengthens climate resilience and provides humanitarian assistance. He stressed that no country can tackle global challenges alone, and that those challenges are becoming increasingly complex.
